This movement generates discontinuities or fractures in the subsurface rocks. Diaclases are fractures in rocks that lack any visible or measurable movement parallel to the surface.<\/p><p>There are different types of fissures depending on how the two blocks move between them: downward, lateral or rotating. However, our interest in terms of health effects focuses on whether <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carlessuria.com\/en\/geobiology\/groundwater\/\">groundwater<\/a> flows through these scars, taking advantage of the lower resistance offered by the fractures. According to this criterion, faults can be:<\/p><ul><li>Wet faults, if water flows through its interior.<\/li><li>Dry faults, no watercourse, and more critical to health.<\/li><\/ul><\/section>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-404c57f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"404c57f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<section><p>In nature, they can usually be detected by observing the landscape.
